Last month, a 7 year old girl lost her Little Miss Hispanic crown, and the internet went apeshit.
News media was flooded with headlines, like this one from DailyMail.uk:

The reason given, get this: “she isn’t a good representation of Hispanic Beauty”.
The public roared in protests. People even started a Change.org petition to petition the judges to return the crown to little Ms McKoy. And the question that everyone’s asking:
“Is it because she’s black?!”
The answer is: Of course it is!
The pageant is called Little Miss Latina. You have to prove that you are 25% Latina to participate.
